Log in to your Control Panel

1. To get to your Control Panel Log In page. In your web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox) first go to your website then add the following to your domain name after the browser.

http://www.yourdomainname.com/ControlPanel/

Please note the capital 'C' and capital 'P' in ControlPanel. Replace yourdomainname.com with your actual domain name.

2. The login page will load. Enter your username and password as provided by Radical Webs or your systems administrator. This can either be the username and password for an individual email account or your master password to control the hosting account and add new email accounts.

3. Once you have successfully logged in you will arrive at the Quick Start Screen.

If you logged in as the Master User your Quick Start screen will look like the below:

  1. The Jump To box enables you to navigate to other Control Panel areas from wherever you are within the Control Panel.
  2. The Change Password Link allows you to change your password. We recommend that you only use this for users to change their passwords. If you want to change the master password please consult your web developer first as changing the master password will stop your web developer accessing the site. If the worst comes to the worst we can always reset the master password. For more information click here »
  3. Manage my users: This is where you go to set up new email users, change users login information, delete email users and set up forwards and aliases. For more information click here »
  4. Add features to my site: This is where your web developer can set up a database, add a secure certificate, set up Microsoft Frontpage Extensions, or make member restricted directories. Unless you have experience of web development we would recommend you read the online help carefully before you use this area.
  5. My Mail: This is where you can view your email if you are away from the office. You are able to read, reply, forward, delete mail. There are also more advanced options that you can use. For more information click here »
  6. Website Statistics: As part of your hosting package we provide the excellent Urchin 5 statistics package. For more information click here »
  7. Monthly Data Transfer: This area tells you how much bandwidth you can use during the current month. All Business Hosting Accounts come with 10 GB of bandwidth. This is usually more than most website would use. Heavy users have the option to upgrade to Pro and Pro Plus accounts to increase their monthly bandwidth allocation. If you exceed your bandwidth allocation don't worry your website will not go down. Bandwidth overages are billed at $6 per GB and we can always review your account and usage to offer you the most cost efficient hosting package for your needs.
  8. Disk Space: The area tells you how much disk space you have available. Your total disk space is used to store your website files, your statistical information, server log files and all of your email. With regards to email the total disk space available is shared between all email accounts, so some users may require only a little disk space while user users can use more. If you run out of disk space contact us to upgrade your account.
  9. Help: Detailed help about every section of the Control Panel can be found here. However, for most users this user friendly guide will give you all the information you need.

If you logged in as an Email User your Quick Start screen will look like the below, pretty much the same as above but with less options:

Acceptable Use Policy   |   Privacy Policy   |   Service Level Agreement
