  • In the Login ID Box, enter the name you want to see before your email address. Note this will also be your User name to either retrieve your email via Outlook or another email client or Log in to view your webmail.
  • Enter and Confirm the Password you want to use. Be sure to make a note of the user names and passwords so you can retrieve them later if you forget them.
  • The typical User Disk Space is around 30-50MB. This is what the user can store within his account, typically Email.

5. Creating an Alias

Aliases allow you to have several email addresses (using your domain name) that deliver email to a single User/Email account.

For example: A User/Email account for johnsmith@adomain.com is capable of also receiving email from info@adomain.com, sales@adomain.com and john@adomain.com.

  • To add an alias, click on Add Email Address on the left side of the Control Panel.
  • In the Email Address Section, add the first portion of the email address you want to use as an alias and select the domain for the email address.
  • Next, you can select one of four options for the address. An email address can be silently discarded or sent back to the sender. Most usually you will use one of the bottom two options. When selecting Local Mailbox, you can select the one user account to recieve the emails. The List option can be very useful if more than one users wishes to recieve the email. With this option, you can also specify other email address, i.e. john, jack, someone@aol.com.

  • To delete or edit an alias, simply click on the Email Addresses link on the left side of the Control Panel. Select Edit or Delete for the appropriate Email Address.
